What will remain if we do nothing?
Elias Kindle, LGU Managing Director and committed to practical nature conservation for many years, gives a lecture on the topic of ‘neophytes’ at the Liechtenstein Art School. In the fight against invasive plants, one thing is clear to him: doing nothing is not an option.
The loss of biodiversity does not happen loudly. It creeps up on us – almost unnoticed. Meadows that were once full of life are now covered in monotonous grass. Even ecological areas are often overgrown with goldenrod or ragwort.
The decline in biodiversity is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Ecological balance is the foundation of our lives – and climate change is further exacerbating the situation.
