SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein supports children with CHF 2.4 million

‘Together, we empower children on their journey.’ Under this title, H.R.H. Princess Tatjana von und zu Liechtenstein and SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein look back on an eventful year in their 2025 annual report. The report highlights the diverse activities, successes and challenges and clearly shows how SOS Children's Villages is committed to helping children and families.

In 2025, SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein supported four local and 34 international SOS programmes with a total of CHF 2.4 million. In the Gaza Strip, Ukraine and Ethiopia, more than 83,000 children, young people and families have received essential support and, above all, hope thanks to humanitarian aid.

At the SOS Children's Village in Albania, around 100 orphaned or abandoned children have found a loving home, and around 300 families receive a wide range of support at the social centre. Here in Liechtenstein, too, 60 sick and disadvantaged children have been able to receive urgently needed therapies and aids thanks to the family support programme.

In addition to informative figures, the annual report tells stories that show that change is possible. ‘Thanks to your solidarity, children and families in difficult situations found support, access to education and new hope,’ emphasises patron H.R.H. Princess Tatjana von und zu Liechtenstein. ‘Behind every figure in this report are lives that have been changed for the better by your commitment.’
